Packaging: Your cleaned and preserved gown will be elegantly packaged in a White Embossed Preservation Chest, featuring a UV Coated Viewing Window that allows you to admire your cherished garment.

What Do I Need To Bring?

Shoes - You MUST bring the shoes you will be wearing with your dress to ensure your hem length is correct

Undergarments - Please wear whatever shapewear, bra, or sticky bra you plan to wear on your wedding day to your alterations appointment. This can change what alterations are needed.

2 Guests Maximum - Due to space, we kindly ask you to limit your guests to 2 for your alterations appointments.

 

How Much Do Alterations Cost?

Alteration cost depend on what service is being provided, as well as the timeframe. If you have any questions about pricing, the seamstress will go over details with you.

 

Are Alteration Appointments Available On Saturdays?

No. Alterations appointments are weekdays only.

 

How Many Fittings Will I Have?

The number of fittings will be discussed during your first consultation. The type of alterations required will determine the number of fittings needed to get the perfect fit.

 

Can I Get A Bustle Added To My Dress?

Yes! Bustles are a very common alteration. The seamstress will cover different bustle options and teach you how to bustle it for your wedding day.

 

How Long Do Alterations Take?

Timeframe for completed alterations will be discussed at your first consultation/fitting. Remember to let your seamstress know if you’re doing bridal portraits before your wedding, as you may need your dress sooner.

 

Does my dress have to be from Elegant Bridals to use your alterations service?

No. Our seamstress is happy to work on dresses regardless of where you bought them from.
